The Cobb Chapter of the Georgia Association of Gifted Children is pleased to present ideas for summer activities for gifted children.  Please note that the Chapter does NOT endorse any of these activities, but merely notes them as a service to our constituents.

iD Tech Camps

iD Tech Camps is a hands-on technology program. The camp provides weeklong, day and overnight summer technology programs for ages 7-17 at over 35 universities nationwide in 17 states and Spain. Locations include Emory University, the University of Miami, and UNC - Chapel Hill.

Summer programs offer various courses that are of interest to Gifted and Talented students. Courses include website design, digital video & movie production, video game creation, programming & robotics, and more. Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, Canon, Macromedia, HP, and others have partnered with iD Tech Camps.

With one computer per student and an average of six students per instructor, campers are given the attention they need to excel and take home a project at the end of the weeklong course. Visit www.internalDrive.com or call 1-888-709-TECH (8324).
